Title: Looks like my new battery is kaput
Post by: Scott of the Sahara on July 18, 2020, 08:50:54 PM
About 6 months ago my original battery on my Norge failed after 9 1/2 years of service. I went to local stores to find a replacement but no one had what I needed. So I went online to Battery Mart and ordered the "exact" replacement battery. Well last week it failed. I came back from a 175 mile trip and decided to wait to fill up till the next day. The next day the bike went click. I put the tender on and got it to fire up. Then I killed it and tried again click. Tender. Click. weird noises then no click.leave the tender on until green. "click" once then weirdness. I even bought the "startus Interuptus" kit and installed it. Nothing. ThenI tried a Jump start. The bike fired right up. Ok it has to be the battery. So I ordered a new battery from somewhere else. Same size different brand. let's see what happens.

No warranty on the Battery Mart battery? Most have a year.

I cant find the paperwork and I do not want the same battery.
Usually warranties make you jump through some hoops.

you probably don't need paper work if you used a CC to purchase, they have your record. I would be complaining until they gave a refund not replacement. You do have power in that you can post negatives about the company online, they take that pretty seriously.
