Now that I have (hopefully) gotten past the dreaded URGENT SERVICE issue, I'm wondering; would it worthwhile to acquire an ECM remap for a stock 1400 Eldorado? I'm not planning on changing anything else from stock, but is there a remap that I could apply, via GuzziDiag Writer, which would improve ride-ability and/or performance? Seems like the Eldo could be a ~little~ less snatchy, just buzzing along a curvy mountain road. Any recommendations for a specific remap for a stock Eldo?

There will be others speaking up that are more knowledgeable on the subject.
I had a 2015 1400 tourer and I was satisfied with the performance on mine the way it was from the factory.

There was a guy , he seems to have gone out of business .

Its not at all bad, but I've wondered if the bit of jerkiness I feel when making 90 degree turns without shifting down a couple gears could be ameliorated?

why wouldn't you downshift when going around corners?

I do, but it's still a bit snatchier than most of my other bikes

its a big v-twin, but don't ride it like a harley. it really responds to revs.

Well, after fixing the URGENT SERVICE/erratic-idle issue by finding and correcting the very loose throttle-cable elbow-sleeve under the fuel tank, and then running HandleSelfLearning and ThrottleSelfLearnin g via GuzziDiag, yesterday I took a short ride and was pleased. Today I rode about 50 miles, with some mountain action, and I realized that my prior gripes about the fueling were pretty much gone! It's now responding to the throttle as I had hoped, even in Veloce mode! It's nice when a fix is so simple and effective. Keeping my fingers crossed that the dreaded URGENT SERVICE message does not return.
