Title: Looking for a dead/no op V7 fuel pump assy

Hello all,

I am in search of a fuel pump assy for a V7 / V7 cafe classic. (Tank is from a 2010)

I do not want a working fuel pump, mostly interested in scavenging the plate, fuel level sensor, & wiring.

This is for the first series V7 with NYLON acerbis tank.  I'm not positive, but fairly sure the metal tank and nylon tank assemblies are not interchangeable? If I am wrong on that please let me know.

Again, looking for the full assembly, but with a broken/non-opp fuel pump (ie: I dont want to pay 600 bucks)

Anyone have such a thing in a box or on a shelf

The components are the same, the assembled configuration different. The one for the nylon tank is more vertical, and won't squash into the metal tank. Note that the pump from the Nevada is the same folded over configuration & fits the metal tank. The Breva version is even more vertical than that of the nylon tank V7. Don't limit yourself to the smallblocks, the pump from the Cali Classic has the same base & components, at least & it's likely there's more models using the same bits. An easy first check is the rubber gasket for the plate? The fuel lever sensors are likely to be off, but that's a minor matter & if you're reconstructing anyway, you might well build in a proper adjustment arm. I've a Breva one with a rusted regulator spare, but with postage cost from the other side of the globe, not to mention running the Customs gauntlet, it may not be feasible. There should be some out there, it's just a matter of scaring one up. Good luck.

Another thought - ring around all the shops that used to be dealers back in 2010, they may still have pumps, if not tanks, from the early V7 Racers which were replaced under warranty. If still on the shelf after 10 years, a mere pittance would be reasonable.

really super info malik, i will cross refrence the gasket part number and see how many models it fits...  the plate is the thing, I can remove the fuel pump piece to fit.
