WOW. Smoking deal on a great bike. I really like the yellow. Wish my Bobber Sport was that color. I like mine so much that I think they will be the new "California's" and of course the Bobber Sport will be the "hydro Cali". Maybe I am just in the infatuation phase of a new bike but I really think it is that good. :thumb: :bike-037:

Obviously some kind of SCAM, he said it was "very fast"

Very fast is a relative term. Maybe he moved up from a moped???

Or maybe his other bike is a Royal Enfield Bullet.

Maybe a skateboarder?

How about a bit of thread drift. Just what would you consider a "Very Fast" bike and have you ever owned one?

MY fastest? V11 Scura (not that fast by today's standards)

Have to agree with that. My fastest was a toss up between my V11S and Stelvio 8V NTX. And as you said not that fast by today's standards. Both are gone now and replaced by a V9 Bobber. Due to age and a need for a bike I can comfortably live with. I would have to say I rate the V9 as adequately fast for my needs but not very fast.
And a nod to the OP that is a good deal but one might keep in mind that you can still get a new left over for 6k and not have to wonder if the one listed was properly serviced and broken in. And yes I love my V9 it was just what I was looking for and a very fun ride.

I call scammmmm..,
Incomplete sentences
Wrong words, ie “hello up for so we have...”
Run on gobbledegook sentences w/o a breath
Weird dollar amount...$4993? And $49 in headline
“Give us a call....”. Singular or plural? Plural means a dealer to me, but no mention
No mention of model name...Sport Touring? Well, maybe but I've never seen that description for a Roamer by anyone smart enough to buy a Guzzi
I could be wrong but the signal is there its an automated BOT to collect phone numbers...
Someone call and find out...
I dare you!
I’d like a Roamer!

OK I'll take the bait on this one:
I have owned the following which I consider to be "Very Fast"
1. Aprilia RS250, Very Fast and the handling and braking to match! Its only the racer crouch with old man's body that ended the 40,000k 12 year relationship.
2. MV Agusta F4 750 Brutale, mental rocket ship with a comfortable seating position.
note: both owned in tandem with 76 T3,

Just a thought the ad shows a shot of the number plate. Can you find out the owners details from that? See if its a scam or not. (Aussie here, dont know the rules in USA re tracking down owner.)

Suzuki GSXR 1100...

Regardless of someones perception of fast, that is a nice looking bike for what appears to be a decent price. Today's fast is tomorrows slug, so...

Suzuki GSXR 1100...
Hey Pete:
Did i hear you on the radio with Brian N JP ?
-
Aprilia RSV1000R, well if you keep it between 8000 and 11000 rpm which is a PITA for road riding.

I say give 'em a call if you're interested. Maybe the seller is short on cash due to the pandemic. The listing is located in Lake County which matches the 707 area code but is a good hundred miles north of Sacramento (916 area code). Santa Rosa (where I was born and raised) is only 50 miles away and that is where the phone number originates, a company called Printing Express. Clearlake and the surrounding area isn't known for a robust economy rather more for missing teeth, welfare recipients, and retirees. My uncle lives there and he's in the latter two groups.
-
Once again, someone who might be interested should...just call and find out!

Looks to me owner may have used a talk to text app and didn't proofread. I tried one once and couldn't believe what wound up on the screen. I would have been very interested in that bike a couple of months ago but I have since gotten a V7.

that is not that cheap when you consider the bike is going on 4 years old and even if bought for the original retail of around $10k, its not that cheap. i know as guzzista, we love them, but the rest of the 2 wheel world is obviously not as smart as we are and to sell it in the real world, it has to be that price or lower.
-
According to the map location the bike is no where near any freeways. Mmm.
Considering what Cadre sold Roamers for brand new, I would say that is a fair price.
