Title: It made me smile (ngc)
Post by: travelingbyguzzi on August 26, 2020, 11:44:40 AM
I took Cookie to a dr. appointment today, and in the waiting room were two m/c magazines I had left about 5 months ago; Roadrunner and Rider.
It is uncommon for them to stay that long.

That's a great idea; never thought of it.

The RoadRunners I keep because Fay and I plan a lot of our rides around their "Shamrock Tours", but the others I just have stashed around.

Now I know what I'll do with them!

Usually, the magazines don’t stick around. I always thought the medical staff disliked bikes, though I know some who ride.
That is why I was surprised to see them still there.
My former dentist(now retired) had car and travel magazines, somewhat unusual.

Had a colleague in town, a Family Physician, who had Pilot magazines in his waiting room.
Just reinforcing the stereotypes of rich doctors.

I have found magazines in waiting areas to be a memory of the Pre-C?%#d   Era.
