Title: stuck starter
Post by: Dean Rose on September 01, 2020, 09:33:40 AM
I haven't started the Breva 1100 in a while, all I get is a click when I push the button. I know I have juice I'm jumping from my suv. The bike has the startus interruptis parts from MPH already installed. Please advise.

I know you are jumping from a good battery, but you may want to start with the simple stuff and just take off battery terminals and ground to clean up really well and see if that does the trick...

A faint click of a small relay, or a loud CLUNK of the starter solenoid?

If it is a faint relay click, then the wire may be off the solenoid, or the MPH relay kit has an issue.
If a load CLUNK at the starter, then the starter solenoid maybe be bad, a loose battery connection on a LARGE cable (including ground), or a bad starter.
