"It's a twelve gauge double barreled Remington, S-Mart's top-of-the-line. You can find this in the sporting goods department. That's right, this sweet baby was made in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Retails for about $109.95. It's got a walnut stock, cobalt blue steel and a hair trigger. That's right. Shop Smart. Shop S-Mart. "

THE OUTLAW JOSEY WELLS
The next best line in that great western was
“I’m glad you stopped her when you did, I might have killed her”
That’s when the Indian gal was on top of the old Chief about to kill him with a knife 🤣

Call me weird , haven't ever watched even one movie starring Clint Eastwood , or Marion Morrison . Had to Google those lines .

Wild and cool to be reading these comments from you guys about The Outlaw Josey Wales!
One of the best Westerns ever filmed, IMO, and I just happen to be reading this right now...

The Outlaw Josey Wales is one of my all time favorites. If you want to watch your first () Clint Eastwood movie and you like westerns, Wales would be an excellent choice. Lots of great lines in it. One of my favorites is "Endeavor to persevere." The entire Chief Dan George monologue is great.
Here's one that's not from a Clint Eastwood movie
"Running's not a plan. Running's what you do once a plan fails."

I guessed at this one. It was interesting to see that S King liked the movie.

I'll do one. From the movie with perhaps the best written dialogue of all time.
Tom Reagan : So what's the deal, you get to live and Verna has to be Leo's girl?
Bernie : I have nothing to do with that, she'll sleep with anyone Tom, you know that! She even tried to teach me a thing or two about bed antics once. Some crackpot idea about saving me from my friends. She's a sick twist all right.
Tom Reagan : She speaks highly of you.
Bernie : Yeah, well, you stick by your family.

I am Bearclaw Chris Lapp, blood kin to the grizzer that bit Jim Bridger’s ass. You are molesting my hunt.
Aw, man. I shot Marvin in the face.
There's a passage that I got memorized, seems appropiate for this situation: Ezekiel 25,17. "The path of the righteous man is beset of all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil me. Blessed is he who, in the name of the charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

THIS IS A TRUE STORY.
The events depicted in this film
took place in Minnesota in 1987.
At the request of the survivors,
the names have been changed.
Out of respect for the dead,
the rest has been told exactly
as it occurred.

MASH was a great movie, it was also a TV show but that doesn't mean it wasn't a great movie. Ground breaking movie, also a watered down tv show.
