Title: MGX-21 Bumper Ring?

Hello,
Just got back from a ride in the North Carolina mountains. Love the bike!  While cleaning it back up, I noticed this ring on my right front fork leg, loose. Has anyone else had this happen? I'm not sure of its purpose or where it goes.  I looked at the parts diagram and cant find something that looks exactly like it.

That is the wiper, it sits on the top(bottom) of the fork seal. On your forks it's the most outside placement. Must have slide out of placement.

#20 in parts  BUT they show a #32 ring may be a wiper for the cover.

Thanks!  I lifted the front of the bike and pushed it back up into its groove.  I was afraid I was going to have to pull the fork leg.
