A couple of weeks ago I bought an 02 Special Sport. But it's missing the tool tray that sits on top of the battery. Anyone have one they don't need?
-
I've got a tool tray - but don't know what it goes to. It doesn't work on my Tontis. I could shoot a photo of mine or you could send me a picture of what yours should look like.

I don't have a picture of it but it would be about 5 1/2" wide by 7" long and nearly 2" deep with a tab that fits under where the gas tank screws to the frame. Thanks

The part number should be 03 47 95 45 if per chance it would be stamped into the plastic

My EV has a tool tray. It's the very same plastic tray that comes on the bottom of a new motorcycle battery.
Next time I'll keep one when I get a new battery rather than throw it out.

Mine's only about an inch deep, so doesn't sound like what you need.

This doesn't look as deep as you say, but close?

That looks like the one on my 99 Bassa, it’s only about a inch deep

I guess my bike doesn't have one either. I had to check the parts illustration after seeing the ebay photo.
Sorry about the misinformation on my part.

THE TOOL TRAY, never to be confused with "THE STOOL BUS!!"

My 02 cal stone doesnt have one either. In my case I had the emission canister that was mounted next to the battery, so I have the smaller battery. When I ditched the canister I got one of those sealed waterproof plastic bins for boating, or hiking, and it fits perfect wedged in where the canister used to be next to the battery.

Duh! What a dummy I am. Should have done this in the first place instead of asking here. Went to my local Guzzi dealer and ordered one. It was only $11. Lucky to have a dealer in town.

Do you have the full size battery in your bike, or do you have the evap canaster next to a smaller one on the tray? Just wondering if it was the same tray for bolth.

Mine has the evap canister. But the picture in the parts catalogue looks like the same one that was on my EV with the large battery.

OK thanks! I ditched the canister, but I still have the brand new smaller battery in there. Hoping to get some good years out of the pricy AGM battery, and looking to get the tray soon. Wanted to make sure it will work with both battery
