Maybe there's something to wearing a aluminum foil hat.

I decline to wrap my feet in aluminum foil.
I won't find out why the publisher of this video suggests it, because as soon as I hear a YouTube video that's using a stupid-sounding computer-generated voice for narration, I just turn it off.
Wonder why people do that? Unlike math calculations or drawing graphs, It's something that an actual person can do FAR more effectively, and probably with less trouble, than a computer can, when you account for typing up a text file, or speaking into a mike and submitting the .mov file to some narration program that generates a sound output with poor inflection, accent, and pronunciation.
I guess it's just a geek thing. "Hey, look at what a cool automated thing I can do!" Some automated things ARE cool, but I'd wish they'd pick one that actually worked .... ?

I thought those copper socks did the same thing?

That reminds me ... very many of the men around here who were a half-generation ahead of me used to wear copper bracelets on their wrists. They weren't jewelry and they weren't ID bracelets; I always wondered what they were for. I know that copper is an anti-bacterial, and highly electrically conductive, but I don't see how wearing a copper band on your wrist would take advantage of either of those characteristics ... ?

I use to see the green on someone's wrist after the interaction of the copper band with their sweat. Maybe they wanted to be lightening rods at the rally campouts.

My grandfather was a VT dairy farmer & no fashion plate. he wore a copper bracelet for quite a while because it was supposed to help relieve arthitis pain. He chuckled about it & said he didnt think that it worked very well but it didnt cost much to try it.

I found this on "Home Remedies that really work." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0lLgwxBfZk Has a female computer generated voice or at least one that has a slight Hindi accent.

THE SCIENCE BEHIND THIS : Aluminum from aluminum foil, cooking utensils and containers can leach into your food and from the food into your body. A human body can ingest and process only small amounts of aluminum efficiently. The Limit is 40 mg per kilogram of body weight per day according to WHO.
According to a Russian scientist, aluminum foil’s unique energy-magnifying properties makes healing possible. He said that all pain symptoms occur due to distorted energy pattern between human cells and Earth’s energy field. Since the surface of the foil can amplify Earth’s energy field dramatically, placing the foil directly on the area of pain will negate the disturbed energy patterns.
In many ways, tin foil can work just like acupuncture needles. In Japanese-style acupuncture, foil has been used widely in treating burns, scars, and bone-pains. Typically, some sort of electric stimulation gadgets are attached to the foil to increase the Qi conductivity.
Hope it helps !"

Treatment for arthritis, latter studied study reults have been mixed although there are plenty of aritcles on the web on how it will cure cancer repair the ozone layer and bring world peace, these websites also sell them oddly, link to what I would describe as a crediable scource.

Side note a more recent article on copper and how it may help in the current times we are in.

How did we ever survive before the internet?

I'd be concerned the aluminum would concentrate my brain waves back in on me and cause an explosion.

Divining/Dowsing Rods.
Know THERE is pure science in action.

Although I cannot speak to finding water, I was amazed many years ago when someone I worked with showed me how to find buried wires. In my case, that was buried telephone wire going to peoples house. No way of guessing the depth, but getting the right place to dig or not dig, yes. It even worked for me. Ha! Now you're not using a stick. I used two pieces of ground wire without insulation with a 90 degree bend, held loosely at the bend with the longer straight length out in front of you. When they crossed, there you were. Although it was never something I needed to do frequently, in 40 plus years, it never failed. Believe me, I was a skeptic. Still am when it comes to a willow stick for water.

I've seen this work! I'm a believer!

Loved it! I saw Frank live in Auckland New Zealand many years ago. Still the best concert I've ever witnessed.

You can also change your 10w30 motor oil into 0W60 motorcycle synthetic, just by using aluminum foil as a funnel.

Saw Frank in St. Louis, Mo.

My grandfather would wear a "special" mitten with copper in it. The family thought arthritis, I think it was carpel tunnel. The mitten didn't work, he was in agony. I think fishing everyday for years was the cause (repetitive motion).

So how does that work then? What generates the electromotive force that actually moves the wires from a rest point into motion? That takes a force to do that, and it's got to be measurable ... anyone's meter should be able to find such a field ... Or maybe, which one of Maxwell's Equations is applicable here?

A lot Moto Guzzi riders have karma bells on their bikes. I use to have a bicycle bell on my Jackal. Funny how people would be looking for the bicycle going 50mph in traffic.

Yes, it's a geek thing. Somewhere right now a geek is on week 6 of her latest trip to someplace new while her code runs thousands of YouTube sites designed to attract eyes to the ads that fund her travel.

Well, if you re-read (or read, apparently) what I posted, I said:
"Some automated things ARE cool, but I'd wish they'd pick one that actually worked .... ?"
As far as I can tell, automated voices are way less effective and personal than real voices ... except to fellow geeks perhaps ... ?

It’s a video about wrapping your feet in foil and your takeaway is that’d be more persuasive if delivered with a real voice?

Just a generic comment about modern videos, whatever the subject ....
