Title: Aprilia Scarabeo 500 2004

There is a local Scarabeo 500 for sale mint condition under 1k, but not running.  The owner lost both keys took to a local Vespa dealer and $600 later new eProm in dash and new key no go!  I have spoken with AF1 and a few online locksmiths, nothing definitive.  AF1 says they will not touch it.  I have done the usual online searches, just thought maybe someone here might have another take?  Thanks

Maybe try over at modernvespa.com, I think '04 was pre-Piaggio so that may explain the difficulty.
