Not bad. Better deal than the one I saw the other day on
CL Facebook Marketplace in South Point , OH for $1500.
Seller's description
Hey y,all,
We have this Moto Morini Strada project bike ready to roll out and it comes with the assorted parts I've laid out in the photos. The motor turns freely and this could either be a donor machine or something you get back on the road for a little fun. No title with this bike, but it will come with a bill of sale.

That's definitely more than just a collection of rusty parts! Hope it goes to a good home ...

Yeah, there's potential there. With a Luggage Rack, too...

Again, thank God there are the brave souls out there, who are still willing to take the time / labor / money to bring these classics back to life again!! I salute all of you!!   :thumb:  :boozing:

That's been for sale forever. Price is high and Low Low AZ is a trek away form Phoenix or Tucson. You'd really have to want one of these to make this trip and pay that price.

The 500 project looks like a good candidate for restoration. Parts availability is ok but since NLM sold off their parts stock to Mdina Italy it’s not the same without being able to call Stuart and get advice. I have dealt with Hermy and he is a hoot. I am not a fan of the Ducati Electronica ignition system but that can be swapped out for other options. It has taken me a couple years to sort out my 500 and am not sure I have it 100% yet. As far as a riding experience it is a lovely light weight bike to ride. The electric start works well and brakes are very good. They are a pretty bike and rare on the ground in Nort America.
