First for the Guzzi content, May is a Guzzi fan, he has at least two that I know of, a G5, and V11 sport, maybe more. I'm sure he would be fun to sit around the campfire at a Guzzi rally.
He made a really great short six episode series a couple years back, James May's Cars of the People. It's really quite fun and the kind of things a lot of Guzzi guys will appreciate. I wouldn't steer you wrong, it's worth your time.
If you have Prime you can catch it there, it's also on DVD, but it's seem's it's also available to watch for free at this web site, https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x24ifq1

May has a Greenie and all sorts of cars. Bully for him.
Since he's an apologist for Jeremy Clarkson and contributed to the jingoism in Top Gear TV show despite being the show "liberal", I don't really care for the guy.

Just finished first episode, The People's Car. I always have enjoyed James May. He is entertaining, funny, and educational. The programs have high production value. He has done a lot of cool stuff and seen a lot of the world. Would be fun to share a pint with him in his newly acquired pub.

Not derailing the thread, but Clarkson and all his fun, wound't work nearly as well with out an apologist. I enjoy them all.

I enjoyed this one: fly a model glider over a quite large body of water after dropping it from a helicopter:

James May also has one where he makes a motorcycle out of Meccano and rides it on the IOM.

I really thought more on this board would be drawn to this, but it seems buy the numbers to be only so-so. (shrug)

There's just so incredidly much on offer, and so little time!
I saw some of the episodes in this series, but would like to see more - thanks for the reminder!
Usually May's programs are interesting and entertaining.
Did he use to be on this forum?
Maybe before my time?
