Title: 500 Single WTB

I have a friend looking for an early model 500 GTV or similar with the exposed flywheel and valve gear.
If anybody has such a beast or knows of one for sale please send me a PM
It doesn't have to be pristine, will be ridden not hidden.

There is a very nice Sport-15 currently posted on "Bring a Trailer".  Auction ends tomorrow in Oregon.

Also, I know of a nice SuperAlce currently for sale in Florida.

Hi Roy, I too would like to find a GTV or Astore, I spoke to Wolfgang Hareter from Columbia Car and Cycle in Nakusp B.C. about getting one out if Italy. Wolfgang goes to Europe several times a year to buy parts for his Laverda mail order business and told me the best thing I could do is go the spring time Reggio Emilia mostra scambio.

Not sure if it will be on this spring, I likely have to wait another year. Wolfgang says have access to cash or bring cash, most of the sellers don't take credit and many do not speak English but project bacon slicer projects still show up for sale. If I go I think I would try and bring back more than one bike, perhaps a Galleto to go along with a 500.

You could email Valenti or Retro and se if they can find you a runner.

I am building a GTV motor, have about 90% of it including the mag and dyno so a rolling chassis will suite me fine.
