Title: The 20 best-selling motorcycles in Italy in 2020
Post by: Caffeineo on January 08, 2021, 07:29:56 PM
I was looking for info on the new Aprilia 660 Tuareg and found this. Guzzi got 2 in the top 20 but not #1

Guzzi probablly don't make enough bike to get no.1 athough this year is likely to be all wierd with things like anual sales.

I was a bit surprised to see the V7 (850) sold more than the V85. Makes me wonder if they will sell as good in the USA. I do like the looks of the new V7's.

Also nice to see the Benelli...even though now owned by the Chinese...as #1! As an owner of a 2017 TNT 300, I wish they'd gain a bit more traction in the U.S. Perhaps the new 502 will help...

Not to sure how accurate this is, as the v7 850 has not been sold to anyone anywhere yet.

I expect the reported sales are for the 750 V7's, and the photo of the new one was just an illustration of the general model.

Everything besides the Guzzis, the Scrambler and whatever #19 is made me want to throw up in my mouth. What has the world come to when we accept this plastic-phantastic aesthetic born of a dollar store knock-off Transformer?

Even if you don't think they're hideous - which they objectively are - it's been done to death! How many times can manufacturers give the shake-and-bake treatment to a frame, 2 wheels and a bag of random plastic shapes? This is what happens when you hire unemployed anime artists into your design department.

There's no way you could park one of these in your garage because:
A) The paint would start to peel on anything contained within (including the walls)
B) Every ant, termite, wasp or crustacean within shouting distance will invade your home as they try to profess fealty to their new Queen!
