Title: Is anybody from Ga/Tn/NC/Al areas riding to MGNOC Rally in June??
Post by: bobrebos on January 29, 2021, 03:35:54 AM
Depending on -, etc im thinking about riding out to the MGNOC Rally in June, 2021 (Keene N.H.).  Is anybody from my general neck of the woods area riding out to it?  Its close to the timeframe of my annual up north (Wisconsin/Michigan) fishing trip, but I am thinking about riding out to it.  Again, anybody from my general area riding out to it??

Bob, depending on work I was thinking about going north, but I will be pulling my trailer with the Guzzi inside and visiting family in New England along with stopping in at the rally and Laconia.  I know that doesn't help with a riding partner, but if something happens while you are up there, I can always trailer the bike home for you.

It's on my Radar, that's as deep a commitment I can make at this time.
Ride up. Ride back.
I'll have a clearer answer as it approaches.

Bob ,

Help me out with an etiquette question here if ya can .

Is it proper to bring a friend along who might be ridding one of those OLD GUZZI's that has the LOW HANGING CYLINDERS (also known as BMW's) ?

It might be good to go north for a ride this summer , but not at the price of braking etiquette.

I have no idea if other bikes are welcomed, but I would hope and think they are.  Perhaps someone with more knowledge will reply.  Im just a dummy! .

There were a few non-Guzzis  at the 2015 rally.

I wondered the same. I'll likely be solo, but maybe could convince my cousin to join, but he would be on a (GASP!) HD...

If I make it up there, I plan to ride my Guzzi over to Laconia Bike Week.  The 99 percent Harley riders won't care.

Not coming from that far, but if I do end up going, im in eastern NY a few min from where I90 crosses into Mass. I plan to head up north into Vt to get there, so I would be game to join into the last leg of the journey.

The rally is 3 hours from home on the Cape, and 2 from our place in Vermont.  Both leave no excuse to miss it, other than the v50 will probably be sold and the G5 not done yet.  Maybe take the Commando and hope that there is at least one other to park next to.

There is a small chance that I may be leaving from the cape. We have a place in West Yarmouth, and the last few years we have been spending summers there. Depending on how the spring goes, I might be there by then. Sad part is there are really no good ways to get there from the cape... All highway.

Hey Paul. I would never ride to NH from the Cape.  My days of dicing up the expressway are long over.  I would be trailering up to Vermont and then riding down, or trailering up to NH.  Call my cell 508-246-4064 anytime. I’m in Orleans full time other than a few weeks and weekends in VT in the summer.  Ben

Ya sure wouldnt want to run them fri, Saturday, or Sunday morning that's for sure! Im hoping to bring the bike down this summer and do some riding on the cape. We will see if it happens. I was trying last year and it just never fell into place to get the bike down.

I'm seriously considering going up as I have some family in New Hampshire and friends in Vermont.
I can visit my family in Pennsy and New Yawk along the way.

I probably wouldn't be the best riding buddy as I stop often. (I'll have to...I'm riding my Bobber!)
