How could you pass on it at that price?

I wish Honda would have put the high/low on the new one.

For that money I'd but it in a minute.. don't dally or it will be gone.

But battery cover is missing ( you can get them) and that speedo is not original. Looks like the tires have been changed, what's there condition?

If you click on my picture to expand it you can see the description. They say it needs tires.

Thats really a great price on that!  I would really like to have one of those. It would be great for around town buzzing. For what I plan for retirement, it would be perfect for me.

Good deal since those things are bringing stupid money now.

If I lived on a lot acres in say, Kansas, I think it would be the ticket.

Bill of sale only, maybe use that to offer a little less?
Tires are cheap and easy to  mount.

Get all the parts you need from DrATV..

I have a small place near the water on Cape cod, and we are tossing around retireing to a town on the water in the Carolinas.. I was thinking it would be awesome for beating around those small waterfront towns..  Better then a Moped, but not as bulky as a full size motorcycle.

My 68 only has the vinyl snap-on convert over the downtube.  Is the plastic covering on that 69 a new feature for the model year, an option or something aftermarket?

a lot of changes happened in 1969. Telescopic forks, air filter, that Downtube cover and the dual range transmission. And more... I think your '68 had two rear sprockets and you changed the chain to get the low range gearing.

I've had mine since new in 1972.

That looks rather tidy.
Fotoguzzi has that lovely one also and it still looks very good, I realise that it holds a memory for him too.
I’m heading off mid year on mine for an 8,000 k trip from the bottom of Australia to the top..(and back), so I will be trusting in it’s inherent reliability.
Mine is not a collectable CT90 like yours, it’s a 110 and different in quite a few ways.

I worked as a Postie for 37 years on those and can tell you that a cam chain at 30,000 km is worth the time if it sounds a bit slappy.
Grab it NOW..! :thumb:

A friend gave me one that was very rough.  Used on an airforce base.  It only had 35,000 miles on it too.......

If you go to look at that bike be sure to ask about the 2 "Reflex's" in the background. A really nice one is worth $3K , average is over $2K. good luck

Thanks, man.  It does have that big sprocket.  I got it years ago and stuck it in the building until I have time to do something with it.  It had a 1971 Arizona plate on it and supposedly parked since then. Nice shape but engine is stuck.  Some day..

I have a very clean 78 CT90 with 1880 mi. on it that I have decided to sell.  I was going to bring it to a friends MC shop to sell on consignment this week.  But I will hold off if anyone here is really interested.  I'm in the MPLS area.  Contact me for more details.  This was not intended as an ad but so many on this thread expressed interest so I thought I'd throw it up here.

not around here, sometimes that's the asking price but they don't sell for that. Maybe because everybody has one up at the cabin so there are a lot out there. They normally sell for $900-1200 if in nice rideable condition.

These have quite a following in Australia.

NO $20K+ Adventure bikes needed here, folks......

I'd have one if I found a decent deal.

Hi all,                                                                                   2-2-21

My first rebuild was a '72 CB100.  Kick start broken, timing chain skipped, carburetor all messed up, crankcase cracked.   I got it for nothing - it was in parts on someone's front lawn.  I asked and they told me to take it away.  It took almost a year...great fun and educational.  That was in 1995, gold...sorry no pics.  My wife rode it for several years and I finally gave it to my nephew.  He's a Harley guy now.  It's hard to imagine that the CB was his 'gateway bike' to a heavily modified Street Glide.

Be well, stay well,
DougG

Hummm... I wonder if he still has the CB.

Engines last like forever on those. Growing up I had a ATC90 that has pretty much the same motor, and I rode that thing every day for hours, for MANY years..  I can only image the hours on it!!
