Great setup. I really like the ammo boxes.  The battery dating indicates a careful owner.   I think this auction will give us a good sense of vintage v1000 values.

C'mon now...the color of the PEA GREEN soup they used in the movie "The Exorcist" was much lighter in color!! :laugh: :grin: :wink: :rolleyes: :shocked: :huh:

I remember, decades ago that green was considered an unlucky color for a bike.
I don't think I've ever seen a compass glued to the top of a brake reservoir. Now I can never make that statement again.

Very nice.  I wish I had the room..... Watching Nicks adventures on his Convert makes me want this as my Convert is too 'pretty' to wander on too many dirt or gravel roads. This would be a perfect addition.

I note that this is another 1976 Convert. Seems there are more 76 models than other years.

I'd say being local pick up only probably suppressed the price somewhat.
