Yes...and the FIRST sign at our house is the blooming of the Lenten Roses...always by mid-February...Here is what they look like...

3/14 is Daylight Saving Time. I look forward to that more than the first day of spring.

I thought this was going to be about the movie. I think it will be on tv tomorrow. It’s pretty funny. Especially that first time you see it.

I live 10 miles north of the groundhog capital,no spectators this year due to the pandemic. Punxsutawney is usually packed this time of year, Its estimated it brings in 1 millions dollars to that little town every year, hopefully better days ahead .

Btw, I hope the big rodent bites the mayor again this year.
I actually did that. On a week long float trip, the rain came, water got murky, catch no fishy, shoot whistlepig w/ .22, start fire, eat whistle pig. Wasn't bad <shrug>

I know...because I hunted them as a teenager in the fields of upstate New York...but not many people know whey groundhogs were called..."WHISTLE PIGS".. :rolleyes: :shocked: :huh: :laugh: :grin: :wink:
