Another Guzzi that doesn't get any love. John G has over 100K of hard mikes on his. I would trade the EV for this, I think.
-
dang thats clean. I wish mine looked that good!
I'm surprised at the milage, my headers and the front of the fork lowers look terrible, and I only have about 5k more miles than this chap
-
Thats a really nice bike, at a very reasonable price! :thumb:
Rick.

And it has chain drive, and the two-cylinder option!
It also had a kid doing the detailing for minimum wage, no doubt.
-
Maybe it is so clean because he had time to shine it while he was waiting for the tow truck.
This was the worst POS I've ever owned and some on this list know this aint my first rodeo.
The stock seat was good for 1,000 mile days and the 6 gallon tank with 45 to 50 mpg was mighty fine.

The headers will come up ok if cleaned and a light touch with fine wet and dry with silver paint, will fix the forks.
I cannot see for the life of me why you would not grab that in five minutes, if you wanted a rock solid highly capable tourer.
Grease the dry bits, startus mod, maybe a rear shock..(maybe..).
Proper servicing and I’ll see you in 200,000 km.

Or..
Maybe he just looked after the bastard. You don’t have to flog them like a red headed stepson every time you go out and ignore their upkeep.
My Norge doesn’t look as tidy as that, but it has very close to 200,000 km and remains tidy inside and out..
I think to imply that his is going to be the bucket of pus that yours (supposedly) was, is a bit of a slight that the guy seemingly has done nothing to deserve.

1100 Breva is the only Guzzi I've ever had that could be described as 'reliable'.
It has only failed me twice, Once when I had it serviced at a very highly respected dealer (Riders Hill) and they put the wrong clamps on the fuel lines and they blew off. The other time was startus interruptus and thanks to the help on this board I got that fixed in a day and it has never given me an issue since.
-
In that case it only failed you once!
Mine has all most 50k and has never failed me. It did start to have Startus interrupts, but it developed slowly and I did the fix before I got hung out.
