Gorgeous fairing. Definitely should be raced by someone.

Don't have that kind of money, and wouldn't fit even if I did. Beautiful bike !

Same as my old bike (pictured below) but without the Rutter connection. I did meet TR on the isle of man after his serious 1985 accident. He came around with his wife for dinner with Steve Wynne and his wife to the house we were based at on the IOM. I was up to my elbow's in a TT2 engine same as the one in the image here and to busy to eat dinner. I'll bet my bike was better.

Here we are at the house with our TT2 in bits. Some German and Aussie tourists had stopped by for a look.

No just there as a mechanic and pit crew for an Aussie racer that year (1986) and another English guy 2 years before. He was doing the F2 World Championships that year of which the IOM was a round and working out of Steve Wynns shop. Did the F2 and fitted a 750 engine for the Senior race. Finished both races just a fraction outside Replica time which was disappointing but ok for an IOM rooky. The rear carb did pop off the inlet though as he crossed the finish line and shut the throttle in the Senior race.
One of my best memories of all time is riding the TT2 from the pits back to our digs after the F2 race. At the IOM in those days they let you do that sort of thing. Sitting at the front of the lights on Douglas Prom with that little Ducati idling there through its 42mm Dellortos and unmuffled 2 into 1 megaphone with a Police officer standing on the footpath smiling. Great memory.
Here's our rider in the yellow and black leathers after the Senior race with the bikes owner in the brown jacket and the winners bike(Roger Burnett) factory Honda in the holding yard.
