I can't say I don't like it. I really like how the wheels were done, and just the overall concept was tastefully done I think being a custom of this type.

Looks like it WAS beautifully built! I prefer plain colors to murals and serpents myself. But that is a bike I would well enjoy riding!

With unknown mileage and a brick for a saddle..for me, Not at even half that price.
Looks like the speedo is in Kilometers.

looks great except for the bug-eyed dragon

For me, I ask the question, why mess with a stock Le Mans 850 III. They are rare enough. Basically, the same build could be done with a T5.

Nice looking Guzzi, but the dragon mural does'nt really go with an Italian bike, IMHO... ???

A fake LeMans 1 with unknown mileage for the price of a LeMans 1.

I could nitpick the bike and the price, but someone had a good eye and did a nice job. It works for me. I hope it brought peace and fun for the old owner and will for the new.

Ben,
I totally agree on the execution, a very clean machine. Plus, the exhaust is a work of art. I like the color too. About the only thing I don’t “ get” is the tank mural.

Ok you sucked me into nitpicking John. I would get rid of the dragon, install a more comfortable seat and swap out the fuel tank vent with black. The color really is great. The wheels and exhaust stellar.

Thats a cool build, I would not mind building something like that out of a fuel injected EV Bassa, or Jackal. Kinda like what Mark Etheridge has been building lately. Lots of potential in these old Tonti framed bikes for a super cool build...Love the lesters, and the pipes! :thumb:

The seat is one of the new repro seats and it isn’t uncomfortable, but of course seats are a personal choice.

I remember seeing that tank listed on E-bay a year or two ago from one of the usual suspects. Looks like a really nice bitsa.
I like the dragon.
