Chuck,
Thanks for posting.
Anyone know if a 2001 would have the longer frame, as opposed to the 2000 model frame?
Anything else to look for on a 2001?
-
I suspect it's really a 2000.. never saw an 01 Greenie.
-
So, possibly a leftover 2000, titled as a 2001? That would have the original frame geometry then.

My favorite modern Guzzi. Wish I had room in the garage. I'll take the short frame any day over the truck like steering of the later versions much like the 850 LM.

I owned a silver one for three years. Turned it into my dream sport touring bike before they came out with the similar Lemans. I even fabricated a whole rack system for it to carry a full set of Givi bags. Got the LD two up award at the 2003 VW Rally on it. My son and I rode 12 hours to get there that year! Great bikes. But the originals needed the heavier oil cooler brackets. and at least in my case, the pivot points on the rear suspension, the inside of the cush drive and steering head bearings never got greased at the factory. I was glad I was still a young and OCD mechanic back then and took care of it all myself. Very fun bike!

Do you mean the concept bike that looked like the unfortunate offspring of a BMW and a Pacific Coast ?
