I know the day to stop riding is coming, on't know exactly when, but sooner than later, I know. I believe we all sooner or later need to make the decision or it will be made for us.
This weekend we purchased 2020 HPP High performance stick shift Mustang fastback EcoBoost twin turbo. I have that motor in my new 2019 Ford Ranger and very happy with it. In this instance it adds another 30 HP and track applications, expensive tires, exhaust mode sound options and handling package with Magni ride suspension. No contest with driving a standard automatic Mustang back to back. I have not smiled this wide since discovering MC's! WOW

Bis - Don't know why you posted that as people can get stupid with any vehicle, especially motorcycles - I think you are just jealous. I did enjoy watching it though. Thanks. :laugh: :laugh:

Best of luck with the new 'Stang. Had a '69 Mach 1 back in the the day...
I had a really bad MC year about 20 years ago where I had a number of near misses and a lowside that really unnerved me. I sold my bikes and bought a BMW Z3 to replace them. Really enjoyed that car but it was totaled a couple years ago. Regardless, the bike itch came back and I bought my first Guzzi (EV Touring). Will get another 2-seat roadster eventually.

Once I'm too old to ride, the last thing I'd need is a high-powered car. A high-powered truck, well that might be another story! Watching that Mustang video just makes me shake my head (and laugh). People wonder why their car insurance cost more than their car payments!

I got my 300 hp, 2 seat roadster 2 years ago to be ready for the transition. So far I always take the bike still. Except on rainy days. A convertible for the rainy days. :rolleyes:

That's one beautiful machine, congrats!
It is a very inexact science to know when that "day" is. I thought mine had come when I had my bad accident back in 2009 (car turned left in front of me).
We'd like to think we can control everything, but that is a fallacy. As many of our accidents prove.
But after 7 years out of the saddle I was back in. In the meantime I share your 4 wheel addiction but I really missed riding. I've tried to moderate my riding and certainly the residuals of that broken back brings some pain along with riding. But I guess it's better to be able to participate rather than not experience the joy of riding even if I ride Very conservatively now.
There is no Day really; you just hope to participate a's long as possible to enjoy that and the friends we all have made. Much more brotherhood here than in most of the car scene.
But seriously - enjoy that car AND your motorcycling. Here's to hoping the enjoyment goes on for a LOONG time!

Ford hit it out of the ballpark when styling the latest generation mustangs. I don't see a line on that car that I don't like. ( can't say that for the camaro or challenger ).

I , I was a hard core Chevy fan bent on getting a Laguna Blue C7 or nice C6 to play around on but found too many issues and inconveniences to have to put up with on the Corvette compared to this year model with all the newer technology. That happened to me when I had my Solstice. Drove it on rainy days that might clear up because I would rather be riding.
