A question for a Breva 750 owners...
What rpms your Breva have when driving 80km/h in a 5th gear?
Or 50km/h in 3rd??
Thanks

Can't remember exactly, sold my bike a few years back, but around 3500

80km/hr gives 3200 rpm. At 100 km/hr (about 63mph nit is sitting dead on 4000rpm.
Never took note in third. I am usually on a hill and looking where I am going.

The reason for this question is that I recently changed the gearbox on my Breva because of the terrible noise that was produced by 4th gear...it was making a noise like "Sherman tank" from ww2
I couldn't find decent gearbox from Breva/Nevada so I bought the used gearbox from TLM -Netherlands and it is supposed to be V65 Florida gearbox with 48000km and it is working really good at the moment.
As I found...V65 Florida gearbox have all the gears the same except the 2 primary gears that have a bit "shorter ratio"
I have been riding my Breva today...and at 80km/h my Breva has exactly 3500rpm...
Well according to your information guys...my "new" gearbox is the same as original...
Well ... I am a bit confused right now

I took a measurement as I was barrelling up a hill on my weekend ride. Only thing is, I thought you had said 80km/hr in third.... :embarrassed:
So, at 80 km she was doing 4800 rpm, which gives 3000 rpm at 50.
