Title: Happy Birthday Royal Australian Air Force (NGC)
Post by: reidy on March 30, 2021, 08:37:26 PM
If you are not aware, today is the 100th Birthday of the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF). Just slightly older than Moto Guzzi.
I would like to wish a happy birthday to all that have been associated with the RAAF.
This includes not only the over 300 000 that have served, but all of the families that have sacrificed a lot to support the members of this fine organization.

The attached video is the presentation of the new Queens colours and at the end a large fly over. Just fast forward if you only want the fly over) (from about 1 hour 20.

I myself have only had the pleasure of serving for 1/3 of the Air Forces proud history.

Steve. Thank you and especially all those bomber command aircrews who came to the UK in WW2.

I'm not sure if that dedication, complete lack of imagination or something else 8 years was about two years too long, the best thing I did was leave.
