Those are good links.  I'd read about the techniques the Polynesians used, but it was nice to see them all summarized in that one video.

I've tried using stars and longitude navigation like the Polynesians used for motorcycle trips, but that only seems to work on even-numbered Interstates   :grin:

Hmmm, long long way NZ to Antarctica on that map. Seems negatively biased antipodally.
