When you start paying attention, there seem to be more around that I thought given the sales numbers.  I saw a green Griso and a Stone in Huntsville over the last couple weeks.  I also noticed a Quota for sale near Niceville on FB marketplace.

Is that your VanVan?   Do you ride on Eglin?  Any good swimming holes?

Did not know you lived around here...I am planning to ride Eglin soon, I have a 90's vintage map that has all the really cool dim roads and trails mapped out.  But it has been many years since I've been out there.  Just want to find some nice steepheads or swimming holes for this summer.

I live in Tennessee.  Just spend a lot of time there for work.

If you download the Avenza Map app, you can download the Range Map so it can track your location to ensure you don't wander into RED areas.  Don't forget to get your recreation pass so you are legal.

Plus 1 on the avenza  app. My son and I ride dirt bikes on Elgin frequently.
You need a permit but easy to do since it’s all on the Jackson guard website.

I didn't know they allowed dirt bikes.  Or do you get to plate dirt bikes in FL?

If you go to Jackson Guard to get the permit they will give you a map book, but you still have to check online each day before you go out to make sure some areas aren't temporarily closed for a buffer to a test area.

The public access map is available at the link above. Jackson guard website under “ maps”. It’s relatively easy to stay off restricted areas. They are marked by signs and they close off the roads with gates.
