 It will take a bunch of these to make a dent , but this is a start , and a good one it seems .

Hope it works. I wish we would have never come up with the BRILLLIANT idea of bottled water. So wasteful.

 Yep , and the funny part is the water source for a lot of the bottled water , I mean the Houston water supply ??? :laugh:

We need one 4 times that size working the garbage patch NE of here.  It's huge.  An underutilized resource of potential energy.

That is where a self replicating AI would be a good thing. If the sailboat would clone itself out of the dredged plastic and be autonomous, the mid Pacific gyre would be cleaned up fast.

Our well water is just fine. I fill a to go jug every day.
