I had the same model/ year with 2500 miles and more upgrades to appear antique, unconverted back to right hand shift to nearly correct mod for 1953. ' sold it for 2800 in 2019. Fun bike to make wind around town, but hard to start sometimes. As we all know... Old design. not much like new Enfields. Continuous maintenance. a new antique. I kind of liked it, but too much work and a killer kickback on the kickstart if not careful.

......... and a killer kickback on the kickstart if not careful.

when selling my BSA 441 (another killer kicker) I had a man show up with one leg !  He balanced on his peg while kicking the bike over !  Fun to watch.
He ended up buying my BMW R75/6 instead....

I had a 2012 C5 bullet and liked it. Paid $2900 OTD for it it 2014 and that’s really what it was worth. The 5 or 6k MSRP is/was in left field.
