My son and I drove down and back from Pittsburgh to Cincinnati yesterday. Enzo just got three Centenarios in and rushed prepping ours so we could pick them up. Very smooth transaction and he even called this morning to make sure we got home safely. Ended up not being able to fit the scooter and the two new bikes on the trailer at once so Eric opted to ride the V85 home. His first impressions were very positive and he is out on a weekend trip as of this morning. I want to give mine a test before I head out on a weekend trip to compare with my 2020 V85 which was one of the first delivered in the USA. Thanks Enzo for really going all out to help us.

So these are 100-anniversary V85TT's? Other than paint / brown seat / white skid plate, anything else different from a standard V85TT? (Nice looking Guzzi, by the way!!) :thumb: :bow: :cool: :boozing: :smiley:

Looks great, love the colors. Correct me if I’m wrong, but the change with the new ones is a differently tuned engine, tubeless wheels and 5 (instead of 3) ride modes?

I haven't looked on the top yolk yet, but they Vin 000010 and 000011. They are even better looking up close. It is too early to tell for sure, but they seem a little more peppy than my early Ronald MacDonald version. The tubeless wheels are a nice touch and the seat seems to have a slight roll at the edge and seems a bit more comfortable - at least the brown really looks sharp.

You sell or trade your old TT? In the end no problems with the 2020?

they said that the change in the tuning cost a few HP, but added torque down low. probably why it feels quicker. a good trade off i expect.

There’s no such beast as an “old” V85 ...(yet).

For less money, I would have bought one with a V9 motor and thought no less of it.

kentuckcy is a state of mind. i test road the v9 variants and while good machines simply don't have the all around capability of the v85 series. so, i don't see them as an alternative to someone wanting the touring capability of the v85 series. nice bike however and loved that 850 engine in the v9 series and i think it would have served well in the v85 also but when you cross 4,000 rpms on the v85 it is gave over for the v9.

I got #55 :grin: no number plate on top tree like the V7 racer.
