Or whether it will go JJ. I think people who set reserves on BaT should be horsewhipped (except for WG members of course).

Not sure if this is true or not, but I have heard that the Brain Trust at BaT actually "discourages" RESERVES, for obvious reasons...and they get quite "testy" when you challenge them on this... (????)

Is there a reason or prohibition on linking the actual auctions vs the screen images?

Having had recent experience with BAT I can tell you that they do NOT discourage reserves. What they will do is suggest if the reserve may be too high, i.e. unrealistic. If one knows the market of one is selling then setting a realistic reserve is not a problem.
And as far as setting a reserve; I would NOT put anything on BAT without a realistic reserve. Go ahead and horsewhip me now but putting anything of significant value on BAT without a reserve is crazy and stupid...

I know you had a VERY GOOD recent experience selling one of your classic cars, so this is noteworthy and worth remembering and THANKS! :thumb: :thumb:    :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Did you have the D8 dozer and traded it to John?

That's not so much a "seat" as it is a table to set tools on while you work on it. ;-)
Since when is a "rebuild" just new gaskets and seals? What about other internals that may be worn?

...and as the legendary HD boys from the now defunct "River Bottom HD" in Tempe, AZ used to advertise on their T-shirts:
"Chrome Won't Get Ya Home..."
