I lasted 20 minutes on one once. One of Guzzi's best looking bikes.
-
I sold mine when it had 123,000 miles on it
-
Between two of them I must have close to 200 000kms and counting.
-
Only put 25,000 miles on mine so far but with Helibars it's pretty comfy. Did my longest day ever on it: about 785 miles :bike-037:
Edit: Seat on the one for sale looks like aftermarket - that could explain the higher mileage...
Edit x 2: Also posted on the WG Swap Meet and the seat was recovered, not replaced.

Not as uncomfortable as they look, especially for taller riders. Plenty of room to move around. Worst part is the tight bend your knees are forced into.

That is my bike, look closely you can see some little links to lower the pegs about 1 1/2 and 3/4 inch aft. I made them years ago, kinda forgot to mention them in the classified. They do indeed decrease ground clearance but I defy any to grind the pegs, sure helps the knees! For the more athletic riders the links can be removed in minutes if desired.

On a track days they do run out of clearance on the pegs, they are a bit of a slow old pig compared to modern stuff, the weight distribution is less than ideal as well.

My favorite highway bike! Great on county roads in sweeper turns, too.
V11 Sport beats it in the twisty, hilly sections though.
(personal opinion of a mediocre rider)

Fact is...it IS one of the beautiful Moto Guzzis ever made...

I've read about several with over 100k miles without any real issues....but mine only has 13k...working on increasing that!
-
Probably ten owners put 5,800 miles on it each. :azn:

Mine didn't have a whole lot of compression left at around 90 000 when we rebuilt it, although I may have been known to ride in a sportsman like manner on occasions.

Lots of legroom compared to a V7 Sport! 1100 Sport has a pretty high seat height so legroom isn't a problem for me but I'm only 5'9"...

There are a few Sport 1100s with higher mileage. Mine has over 90K miles, stock seat and footpegs, but I do have helibars.
Bill in Kansas City past 100,000 miles on his yellow one several years back, and rode it stock bars and pegs..

And held those Dellortos open. Yeah it's beautiful.

It actually works well on the highway. Not so much in traffic. I did some 600 mile days on mine.

And here it is! I gave your old bike a good bath after I got it home to NC, but sadly enough, the milage hasn't changed since I bought it from you. Your old bike will one day become a winter service and "freshen-up"project.

Holy _rap that's a beautiful piece of art/machinery. I'd park it in my living room in my fantasy house.

I did a 1000 mile day on mine⦠so there  Once, in 1999, and it was quite painful  For shorter days they are really not so uncomfortable.
