I attended the vintage motofest at road America last weekend. Entered the airone sport in the show. LOTS of bikes and people!! Voting was by three judge’s, not the crowd. I was happy to receive the best restored bike award. Always good to get some affirmation!!

Speaking of paint, I'm thinking of using that color on a project. What is the proper name/match/code/? for that specific red?
-
The info off the label for paint is:
Mitsubishi color, OEM code P04, CNP10004
It is PPG/Omni plus Base coat/clear coat
Hopefully that’s enough info.
Thx,dave

BTW, when they were announcing the winners. The first thing said was what a beautiful color and paint !

Whats is your riding impression of the Airone? curious to hear how it compares with some of the other bikes you have.
-
I like how it rides. Brakes are decent for the age, it feels very light and nimble. Performance is what you expect from a 70yr old bike. It starts first kick, I like that !! And it hasn’t left me on the side of the road, I like that a lot !!! Lol

I’m relatively tall at 6-1 and the bike is not real big so the ergos aren’t the best. But, it’s not uncomfortable to ride. FYI, the second gen quota fits me VERY well
-
Interesting, thanks, I am 5'-9" , tall by Italian standards so it should fit me!
