Title: coil resistance ev

I think it is 3 ohm but, I just wanted to make sure from you guys. 1998 EV

The coil alone, 3 S/B right. If you measure the spark plug wire end cap through the coil to ground, I think it S/B 8. My EVT was 8 with stock plug wire caps.

Thats about right for the high Voltage circuit (8k), anyway both sides should be the same if one side is open chances are you have that nasty resistor wire.
My EV was missing on one cylinder, the resistor wire had burnt up the core, a quick fix is to poke a sewing pin in the end to bridge the gap.
