Title: Back Supports

Has anyone found back supports, aka kidney belts, helpful for long rides?

I tried the Back-A-Line belt years ago.  Never worked that well for me, but it got good reviews on Motorcycle Consumer News (rip). 

Do people find them helpful?  Should I revisit them?
