Title: New bike
Post by: rudyr on June 27, 2021, 05:12:55 PM
My plane is to buy a new Guzzi.  I’ve got money in my pocket and I’m going to try to buy. If rent houses or life challenges don’t get in the way.  Been cleaning rent house ice box ( elect been off for 2 weeks it was not enjoyable) just so I could leave tomorrow.Rudy

How ‘bout a nice Cal-Vin Rudy??

If you’re set on a dual sport you really should look at the Yamaha Tenere 700. Super rider friendly bike.

I’m going to  ok city he got a traveler 2021 tube less tires.  But if we can’t get together headed to Tulsa.  But when I was in Tula a few weeks ago he took my a number and said he would call when he got some V85TT, he never called.  The best dealer I have talked to in the was Clare cycle out of cinninate oh. it’s 9 hr. away & ok city 5 hr. Tulsa 4 hr. I’m trying to spend my money close but 9 hr. Not that big of a thing.  Last year Claude told me just get the oil I could do my 1000 mile severs.  Oh he would bring the bike half way.Rudy

You know I’ve road the Tenere and really liked it, and how about the 1050 V storm. Now that’s a nice one to. Rudy

I second that about Enzo at Cadre!  My son and I picked up our '21 V85 Centrenarios about three weeks ago.  He could not have been more accommodating and professional.  I highly recommend Enzo.  I am only 5 hours away from his shop. You will love the V85, this is my second one.

Congrats on the new bike.

Sorry to hear about the drop.   Sometimes that’s a good thing.  Get those first scratches in and then you have no guilt about just riding the thing.  Beats waxing paint and shining chrome in the garage while not riding the freaking bike

I thought this new muffler & pipe was from Guzzi Tec. Idon’t know.  The muffler box sayes  arrow and has Guzzi on it & Don put new Guzzi tuning sticker.  It is a lot lighter than stock and said y pipe would save weight, better fuel mileage, along reduce heat.  That is what I noticed this morning with the stock pipe a lot of heat.  The bike is rated at 80 hp neW, I WOUNDER IF I will gain any horse with new system. Rudy...you don't have good luck with blinkers...like the dangling one on your Harley on our way from Cedar Vale to Pawnee!

Get those blinkers stabilized!

The stock bike is rated at 80 hp but only dynos at ~67.  Guzzi tech is running a full system/airbox mod/Rapid bike Evo kit to get 80rwhp from the bike.

Moto Guzzi was selling an Arrow exhaust for these at one point - sounds like you might have that?

Low rider I hope Thur. afternoon.  Don told me that the engine needs to be cold to check values. So ride out drop bike off and stay at cheap motel on meridian.  Get the v85 checked out fri.  If the hay goes better the rest of the week.  Oh after my ride it all went down hill, tractor get hot which shouldn’t, broken cutter blades, and to top of all that hot power line wire laying on the ground in part of the field.  it’s been trying on a one man operation today, that just want to ride.Rudy

Oddly enough, the street in front my house is being paved.  I'm locked in at the moment.  Certainly won't ride a bike on an oil and unpaved road.

glad you made it and got situated.  They were paving the street in front my house and I couldn't get to Don's.  I didn't hear from you anyway, so I figured you had other plans or you would've called.

We outta have another ride up to Tulsa or somewhere close and have a meet-up with Dusty, Michael D and the rest of the crew for another breakfast.   :food:   You can show off your new ride.    :bike-037:
