This is awesome, I linked up with one of the sons via Reddit... I actually suggested they call you! I did not know Tom was the 'dad' he was referring to..

FYI:
they (tom's kids) also have his utility trailer for towing a bike or two, they were only asking $100 for it... not sure of the condition but that's a smoking deal if it just needs a little cleanup. I would have taken it but I'm 7hrs away.

all the bikes have titles and they transferred then into Holly's name to make sale easier.

The convert runs but needs a battery and the 'front brake is stuck' (prob just a chromed piston rusted to the disc?)

The v50 is not running, needs electrical work

Jackal & Breva run, the cousin has been starting the bikes and riding them around the block regularly.

I’m interested in the Breva, didn’t see where the bikes are?

Mmm.  I suppose I need to include my username and passwords to all the forums I go to with my final papers so my wife can get the bikes sold ASAP when I pass.  I have told her that is the first thing she needs to do so they don't fall into disrepair while she is trying to figure out what to do with them.

Having a trusted friend to help liquidate them would be helpful.

Sorry that the family has to deal with this on top of losing their dad and in addition to their normal daily tasks.

Wish I could help out and take a bike off their hands, but the two I have interest in are too much for the age, mileage and unknown condition.

On a related note, I rode to the post office today. A guy came up to and commented on Audace. He said a friend had an older one but he passed a couple of months ago. I asked if he knew what model and year. He said it was older, red and in primo condition. That's all he knew, I got his number and he will get back to me. It is probably out of my price range.

The V50 III and Breva were both purchased by my friend Joe G. They'll be good company for his Jackal.  :azn:

The V50 is now for sale by my friend Joe.

After replacing the fuel pump, fuel filter and a few relays, he has the Breva running well once again.
