I just translated the July, 1975, Motociclismo test and review of the 850-T3 into English, using scanned files uploaded by member Pisano back in 2016 (thanks again!).
It was a bit of trouble since I don't speak Italian, but I think I did a good job. I typed in the Italian from the scans. (I have a working document available if you're interested in checking.)
The review concentrates on the then-new integral braking system and is almost unbelievably thorough.
I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I have, now that I can finally read it. It is a shame it has taken 46 years for this material to become available in English (to my knowledge).

Thanks , an enjoyable read ! Horse power curve is of course completely ludicrous
And yes , they certainly dwelled upon the integrated brake system , however to give them
credit , both Honda and Yamaha used a very similar system in their large touring bikes later. Peter

I don't understand. You translated the text and then substituted your translation for the original Italian text in the images? I did not know that was possible. If that's what you did, it's remarkable and quite enjoyable. Thanks.

Not exactly. I made a new word processing document (in Pages), stealing the layout from the article. Then I cut and pasted all the photos and graphs into it, and added captions and other text in text fields. It was nice to let the original layout artist figure out the arrangement, saving me from thinking. I tried to approximate the fonts and font sizes. For the title page I pasted in the graphic of "Moto Guzzi 850" and then copied its color with an "eyedropper tool" to apply to the font used above and below it.
I did the translation in three steps, paragraph by paragraph. I typed the Italian text into the word processor, had Google translate it into Googlish, and then I translated from the Googlish into English, like this:

I wound up with 28 pages of those translations, and took 8-10 hours for the whole project.
I found some real surprises in the article, things my previous readings had not revealed. Since nobody has commented on those, maybe I should mention them in another note.
Thanks for your comment. I'm glad you liked it.

P.S. You can see the original scanned pages of Motociclismo that Pisano posted here: https://wildguzzi.com/forum/index.php?topic=86778.msg1375835#msg1375835 (https://wildguzzi.com/forum/index.php?topic=86778.msg1375835#msg1375835).

Nice job. Looks original.
I don't recall seeing this level of detail in recent magazines.

Great article Moto. It was so interesting I saved all the pictures and turned it into a pdf.
Good translation - much better than googlish!
Thank you,
Shawn

This will be great for the folks who own these great bikes!

Good idea. It's too bad this site can't accept PDFs.
I made a more compact PDF than the 175 MB one I started with. It's less than 24 MB, small enough that I could mail it to my brother using gmail.
If anyone would like me to mail it to them, just send me a PM.

That's a good size - copying the photos gives a 40Mb monster.

Reading this article and looking at the photos, i more than ever miss my '75 850-T. Damn, that was a nice bike.
I hope my recently-acquired Breva 750 doesn't read this post.
