Obviously the seller is a Guzzi fan and he's put some money into it, but is anyone going to pay $11K for customized 850T?

C'mon now...with a spare frame...a box full of spare parts...and the legendary white, ACE-BANDAGE-wrapped exhaust pipes!!   :thumb:

"Labor of Love" = Unrealistic belief of market value.
But a very nice looking bike, indeed!
-
Not over priced if someone pays that much for it.
The other scenario is, "Yes dear, I put the bike up for sale but nobody's interested."
-
same bike was just on ebay for $8k-- no bids
-
Dont get me wrong, sweet bike, but $12k? you could buy Canuk's Laverda for that!
-
"Yes dear, I put the bike up for sale but nobody's interested."
LOL I'll have to use that one.
-
That's a really nice bike, and sounds like the guy who built it knew what he was about.
The lines and proportions are good, too. Not all cafe racer builders understand that.
A wee bit pricey for me, though.......

How is this a '75 with 2 front discs?
-
Well, someday, that might look like a bargain...
-
On eBay for $7800.
-
"but....but I had the local restorer" restore it.

And no mention if the chrome cylinders were replaced.
750 S side covers.
No mention if it has an oil filter.
Late Ts had em.
-
750 S side covers.
The side covers are new repro style of the V7 Sport tool box lids but they are fixed and have no tool box locks. The 750S used the V7 Sport tool box backs (as did the 850T) and the lids were similar to the 850T but no louvres punched in the lids.

That’s a sweet $5500.00 motorcycle on a good day. We all live and die by that sword of cost v. value. On the right day and road the bike is priceless.
-
Ah, yes, V7 Sport. My pornographic memory is slightly failing me.

Hand laced wheels? what else are you gonna use to lace them. Original powdercoated rims Hmmm don't think so.
