Title: Anyone using a Madstad screen V85TT
Post by: Sye on August 10, 2021, 11:02:08 AM
As in the title please. i'm thinking of getting one but over here they are VERY expensive. With duty and taxes the 20" works out at around £300 ($414.00), so before I take the plunge I'm looking for a man or woman with a V85TT who is around 5' 11" tall with a 31" ish inside leg.

What's it like, what size screen do you have, 18", 20" or 22" and would you recommend it?

TIA, Sye

I have the same measurements and using their instructions ordered the 20 inch screen but I have to raise it up to near the top of the adjustment.  I think I am going to see if i can just get the 22 inch screen from them with no hardware.  It does cut out the buffeting, though.

I bolted a Madtad system for a Tiger 800 to the OEM screen and it's awesome.  Worth every penny.  Their bike-specific system for the V85TT -- which wasn't available when I built my hybrid system -- will almost certainly be better.
