Title: OREGON GUZZI CAMP OUT TO REPLACE HUMBUG 9-10-21--9-12-21

OMGOC Bear Hollow Campout - Fri. 9/10/21 - Sun. 9/12/21

The campout replaces the traditional event at Humbug. The new location is Bear Hollow Campground, between the town of Fossil, OR and the annual April campout location at Shelton Wayside on OR Hwy 19.

Campout runs Friday, September 10 through Sunday, September 12. Some folks may be there Thursday evening. Event fee is $20 per person which includes campsite, dinner on Friday and Saturday, breakfast on Saturday and a light snack breakfast on Sunday. Those interested in shooting nearby will have the opportunity on Saturday.

Cookie and I will be there. Took a quick 200 mile ride with Marlin Hoeres yesterday; he is in, also.

I'll be riding there on my Norge and my pal John Greenfield will be trailering his V7 there. We plan to be there Friday afternoon. A couple other friends may also come, including Austin who rode his Harley 72 to the Deep Forest rally recently.

I plan to start a ride in the next few days and will end up at Bear Hollow campground. Still planning where I'll go, leaving from Poulsbo, WA. Have been monitoring air quality from all the fires and think I'll zig zag on down through roads west of I-5, then not sure. Would like to spend time at the flight museum in McMinnville. Have some favorite roads I'd like to ride including the Beaver/Carlton stretch, Rte 53, Miami River Rd, Rte 47 from Clatskanie to Mist after taking the tiny Cathlamet ferry. Will try to cross the Cascades via McKenzie Pass on Rte 242.
