HI all, I am new to this site and Moto Guzzi, just purchased a 2012 Stelvio NTX and my rear caliper/rotor gets quite hot while fronts stay cool. The pistons can be pushed in by hand and pins are well lubed. Looks like MG does not sell a rebuild kit for Stelvio calipers and I wonder if anyone has found a kit that works?

I'm no expert but have you looked at or contacted the folks at AF1 racing and looked up the Brembo parts for the caliper? They are just Brembo brakes, used on other bikes. Sorry if I am suggesting something you already know.

If the pistons can be pushed in by hand, then it doesn't sound to me like the caliper is the issue. Could be a blocked return hole in the rear master cylinder preventing the brake pads from retracting, a kinked or internally collapsed line or possibly a fault in the ABS.

Seems like I read somewhere that you cannot source rebuild parts for Brembo brakes due to "liability " issues. Is that correct?
