Gathering information to get a picture of motorcycle ownership among the members of wildguzzi.
-
I currently own Moto Guzzi, Harley Davidson, Suzuki, and Kawasaki.
-
Three different brands, but all Italian.
Moto Guzzi V7. Ducati 900 SS. And a 1999 BMW F650, but that model year was made by Aprilia in Italy.
-
Sadly, and since my retirement, (2019), it's just two (2) these days...a Moto Guzzi and a Victory. :thumb:  :boozing:
-
Four: Guzzi(s), Moto Morini, Benelli, Ducati.
-
Moto Guzzi
Harley
Triumph
Honda
BMW
BSA
Norton
And how could I forget - URAL

As some of you have already posted, since retiring, and a weak back, I only have a Vespa and a '73 CB350 Four.
Now, if Guzzi offered once again a sub 400 lbs, 350 twin, I would be all over one.
Alternatively, if a 350 Moto Morini came up, I would be interested, as well.
-
Ducati, Vespa, Heinkel, Maico.

A V50 is 348 lbs dry, still under 400 curb. I find my '82 V50 III to be just as much fun as any of my Morinis were, but with a bit more power. Just something to consider.

Two currently. Kawasaki 750 project bike and a new RE650 GT that is my daily driver.
But in the past had 29 MGs and about a dozen Japanese bikes and a BMW. I stayed pretty busy fixing up bikes as a young man.
Still hanging out here because MGs were such a large part of my life for so many years and I really like most of the owners. Yinz are good guys!
-
A couple of Guzzi's of course-
a BMW
then two dirt bikes- Yamaha and Honda
Gotta cover all the bases, right?

So I call that three different brands.

Now my Guzzigander motorcycle rental business is no more, I guess I'll be culling the fleet somewhat.
Still, it's going to be difficult to sell. I'll probably start with models I have two of.

When it comes to motorcycles, I've settled to being a serial monogamist. I've had several bikes. The few times I had two or more, they started to whisper "Why aren't you riding with me?" when I took the other one out. They would purposely get in the way when I did stuff in the shop. They would all whine for washes and valve clearance adjustments and carb syncs and oil changes. Tires and bulbs and cables. "Hey, SHE got a new air filter!" "Yeah but SHE got new tires!" The bickering was endless. It got to the point where I had to leave the garage just to get some peace.
Don't know how you guys do it.
-
As I write this the voting indicates three models is the most common. I'm in that group with three models, five bikes total. Moto Guzzi (2) Honda (1) and Cushman (2)
-
Current:
5 - Moto Guzzi

2 - Honda

Not a huge change however, I did just add a couple, one Guzzi Ambo Project which I have no idea why... and a very cool '79 GL1000.

Yes, a 1949 S7 Deluxe (the first year for the deluxe) I sold a 1954 model earlier this year.
I can say after working on many motorcycles over the last 45 years they have little in common with anything.
