Mark has made up a few of his sport bike conversions. He just finished the black one in the picture. Looks good! If I could convince myself to ride a sport style, wouldn't mind having one of these  If your interested, here is a link:

Nice stuff Mark makes, better than what Guzzi offers new.

I guess if your idea of a sports bike is a early 80's lemans, twin shocks with no anti jacking system and little travel, very conservative steering head angle rearward weight bias. They are listed as a cali ev which seems to be pretty accurate.

C'mon now...That's a cool build!!! :thumb:  :boozing:    :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

It is, and they are (built from Jackals, EVs, etc.) :azn:

That’s exactly my idea of a sport bike. Maybe even some floorboards and some side cases to get my bourbon and takeout home.
Those are nice builds. I really like the paint schemes.

I consider the use of the word sport in the context of 1100 sport possibly one of the most optimistic examples in the English language, second only to the use of racer in V7 racer. :P

IMHO, they are ALL sport bikes ;everything from a Vespa to a Hayabusa. Whatever it is, someone is gonna have fun with it and that is all that matters.

Mark knows as much about Guzzi’s as anyone and his workmanship is top notch. Anyone buying a bike from Mark can rest assured that it will be safe, dependable and well built. There are many factors that make up a Sport bike and everyone has their own criteria for the term but restricting the selection to a GUZZI Tonti, Mark’s bikes are fine choices.
To my thinking it’s like saying no Harley’s are sports bikes but one can ride a HD sportingly.

Yeah this is a totally different beast with the controls and pegs shifted back much farther than stock, the addition of clip ons, the tuning of the injectors and taking about 30 pounds off of it totally transforms the bike.
You could easily gain some more power with a few easy mods like a lighter flywheel.
The EV is the perfect platform to do this, you get the dual front disk brakes the fule injection and the 1100 power house. Not to mention the frame is still the tonti which has alot of good sport bikes built on it.

I’ve bought two bikes from Mark over the years. I live in NJ.
You can trust his work.

Absolutely. And.. he's honest to a fault. The old adage, "salesmen have a license to lie" doesn't apply with Mark. :thumb: Good guy, and deserves your business.
