Interesting, at almost 3 lbs, that's as hefty as his 300 US price
I've never seen the cheaper plastic ones from the UK he mentions in his ad, it would sure be cheaper to ship.

For $300 he'd have to drive it to my house and hang it in my garage and hand me $250 change

With the word "shoppe" in the title, it must be an original. I mean there's no way you could google "Oval Moto Guzzi sign", copy the artwork from one of a hundred places on the internet, make some simple changes and get them made in China for $12 a piece. Just no way.

“Never mounted...
Un buggered...” (A hundred lines and I can’t use one of ‘em...)

I paid $30-$40 for my MG sign incl S & H, no fancy shmancy vintage stuff here.

As we often say in the antique car world..."the quality remains long after the price is forgotten." Particularly, if it's something you look at and enjoy every day. Like art. Try and find another...

Hey now, you're cutting a little close to home there.. It didn't come from china for $12, but still-

As far the ad goes, if they were only given to dealers and he's the original owner (32 yrs..) wouldn't that categorize him as a former or current Moto Guzzi dealer?

Picked this one up at a dealership in Scottsdale, AZ about some fifteen years ago for 20 bucks. New and unmounted. Biggest problem was convincing three TSA people that I would not use it as a weapon to kill anyone or take over the plane. And that it would fit under the seat on the plane.
Took some doing but finally made it past.
