Well this pic has appeared, showing a V7-sized bike with the now standard 850cc air/oil cooled V7/V9/V85 engine in an all-new bike.
The internet seems to think this is "the new V7" but I think the retro-standard (current 850) V7 is here to stay. I suppose this is a completely new model. I can't imagine dropping the V7, which seems to be the most successful (sales) bike Guzzi has ever produced! Thoughts?

Could be another model variant of the 85. After all, we no longer have a Scrambler or Racer variant. We have a cruiser look and a classic naked.
Could be a bored down V7. If so, how's that for continuing the Guzzi trend of name confusion. Hopefully not.
I'm trying to think of what it could be that might actually interest me. The looks are a bit uninspiring to my eye so far.

I’m seeing some leman V/targa/4 valve smallblock body work around the seat, rear wheel
-
LeMans MK IV tailpiece? Looks very familiar...

Looks like a 750Breva and a LMIV had a baby?

More smallblocks (yawn)

It’s not a new frame either.

You don't know that. Maybe they made an in-between frame that lifts the rear fender mount arms between the V9 (horizontal) and V7 (roughly 30 deg).
(this is an exercise in sarcasm)
-
And it still works fine.
-
We shall see. Will it work fine for a Nevo LeMans? Not if it's going to be a ton plus bike, but perhaps there is more than meets the eye.
-
Personally I'm just hoping with the new 1000 engine, they create a new Griso.

It must be the new one.
It’s got “bold new graphics..”
Will be called the V7 CARTA IGENICA...(toilet paper). There’s a 12 page facelift thread in this one... :clock: :clock:
Whatever the new one is, it’ll need three discs, polished rims and no black paint.

Nah, Pete’s legs are silky smooth, texture like brushed satin and reach all the way to the floor...
BTW..
He was in fine fettle on the ‘phone yesterday. :thumb:

How about a "custom" from a local shop?

Dan
Im pretty sure this is taken right outside the factory, when the v9 test bike spy pics leaked, they were taken at the exact same spot.. the pics are almost identical except for the bike
-
I don't think a local shop would go to the trouble of all the camoflouge (sp?). In fact I would think just the opposite.

Not sure what this would bring to the table.
No way this would bump the V7.
Body work says "Nighthawk" to me, which nobody wants.
Please be better!
