I actually owned a mid 1950's 250 Zundap. Complete with a total loss electrical/ignition system due to a bad generator for which I could not find parts.
Rode like that for several months! IMS, sold it for about what I paid. Fond memories!!!

I saw literally thousands of Zundapps in Cairo in ‘78  ,they were supposed to have been destroyed after the war as part of war equipment but police and military still had them

That is hands-down the worst written, worst edited piece I've read this year.  It made my brain hurt and I came away knowing less about Zundapp than I knew going in.

Now I spose I should read it, I only wanted a pic of what I saw in Cairo and at that it’s a poor pic. There were open driveshaft flat two cylinder Zundapps with sidecars and automatic rifles mounted on the cars. I think Sadat worked a deal so they could be used for national security. There were open areas between buildings that were being used as salvage yards with literally stacks of broken down ones and police and security running all over with them. Some pilots and sidecar monkeys were not uniformed and those were the scary ones. I should have brought one back but at the time I was not interested in sidecars.

Good old times when we ran a real industry.

In case a zündapp KS 750 side car rig shows up on the market, what happens very rare, it might go for 40 or 50 k€.

Actually a R75 naked frame is for 7000 on ebay. By that money i could get two Cali EV...
