Just had to share my excitement about finally getting some long awaited backorders from Piaggio. Over a hundred part numbers in all of this and hopefully just the beginning of it. Hoping for three or four more waves soon. It's kinda like Christmas really is before Thanksgiving this year!!!
Going back to work now to get this stuff out the door!

I feel lucky it only took 10 weeks to get an Agostini silencer shipped from Italia.

Glad to read the back log is starting to break loose.
I checked on an order that I have in with AF1 and was advised that Piaggio has pushed delivery back to the first week in December.
Not to be misleading, AF1 advised right up front that this order would be delayed at lease the eight weeks that have already passed.
This likely means that I've purchased myself a Christmas present, maybe an Easter Basket filler.
Not like I'm missing any riding because of this, the parts in question are non essential replacement parts for my GRiSO.
I just hope that they didn't mean December 2022.

I'm on week 13 waiting for a set of Agostini Slip-Ons for my California to ship.

The crazy thing is that ports are actually processing a record volume of goods... there is a huge bottleneck, but it's not like they are moving less stuff thru. The volume just outstrips current capacity and historic trends.
People have been screaming about how perilous "just in time" inventory and supply practices are for years... Rising consumer demand has been taxing these systems to the limit for ages. Now the ___ event was finally the straw that broke the camel's back.

Now if they could just figure out how to get whole motorcycles to where people with money in their pockets ready to buy are.
