Title: v7iii bar end weight
Post by: drab on November 22, 2021, 03:39:59 PM
The right side bar end weight on my v7iii Stone fell off.  Is this a kind of universal thing I can get off of amazon or whatever?  Or is their something weird about the Guzzi that I need to find OEM?

Thanks

i think that the bar has an internal tapped hole for the bar end, remove the other side and verify.
if the tapped hole is ok, then just replace and use loctite.
if the hole is stripped then it's choice time.

1. new OEM bars $190.00
2. new universal bars $60.00
3. several counter weight options on anamzon/ebay/dennis-kirk/ etc...

you can use bark-buster mounts in the bar end to re-attach the weight.

Are yours black? I use these on my TT in the summer when I remove the hand guards.

Those are the ones Chethro. Thanks!

I thought it was going to be a lot more hassle and expensive.

Even with shipping it's a strangely affordable Guzzi part.  The bolts to go with them tho....lol
